Thank you for considering Romania as your future travel destination. My name is Serban D Capatana and I am a licensed free-lance tour guide for Romania, born and raised in Brasov, a multicultural medieval town located in the center of the country, not very far from the Austro-Hungarian medieval capital of Transilvania and the birth place of Vlad the Impeller, the famous Dracula.
Guiding comes very handy for me, as it offers me the possibility of pursuing my passion for history, culture, photography and people in general. The teaching years following my graduation from the Faculty of Foreign Languages (specialization: German and Gypsy language), as well as over 10 years of experience in tourism and several specialization courses offer you the premises for an informative and pleasant trip throughout the country. I speak fluently German and English, but I can also get along in French, Italian, Hungarian and Gypsy language. Worth mentioning is also the fact that I am among the few guides who organise Jewish Heritage tours.
Depending on the number of clients, I can offer two comfortable a/c vehicles at disposal: Volvo S40 sedan and Ford Tranzit minivan (8-seater).
Please allow me to introduce you to my wonderful country, Romania, a country of contrasts where farmers speak on the mobile phone while plowing their fields by horse, a country of outstanding natural beauty where history can be learned “live”, while traveling, a country where Dracula-legends go hand in hand with medieval churches. In a word: a country of contrasts which offers everyone the premises for a relaxing holiday.
