Airport - There is no airport in Sintra. The best way to get to Sintra from the Lisbon airport is by taxi. Alternatively, catch a bus to Lisbon city centre and then a train from Rossio station.
Shopping - Souvenirs and Porto wine are all on sale in the Sintra historic district. There are a number of shops that sell standard tourist items (post cards, t-shirts, etc.) and a number of shops that sell ceramics, pieces of art and hand crafts.
