Private Guide in Lisbon:
I was born in Lisbon on the 21st of July 1948, where I have completed high school.Shortly after I have completed my high school studies I have moved to England where I have attended a course in english language and completed my A levels at the London Southwark College for Further Education, and I also have enrolled at the London Film School, having lived approximately 4 years there, After that I went to France,where I worked as receptionist in a hotel in Paris, and attended a french language course during a year and a half.
After having completed this course I went to Belgium and in Brussels I enrolled in a course of Dutch language for about a year.The next country where I have been studing was Germany, and in Berlin and Frankfurt I completed a course in german language and literature and worked in an attorney's office, and after my two year stay in Germany I decided to travel to Italy, and for two years I studied italian in Rome.
Having gathered some knowledge in the above mentioned languages, I decided to start working as tour leader, after having completed a course in Lisbon for Tour Leaders, and thus I led tourist groups in various countries in and outside Europe, and since 1975 have been working in Portugal as tourist guide and interperter. Occasionally I do technical translations. In Lisbon I completed a course in russian language at the Lisbon University, and presently I am folowing there a course in greek language.
During my young years in Lisbon I've had a radio program where I had the chance to interview many artists, such as singers,musicians, actors,conductors,amongst others Cliff Richard, Charles Aznavour, Zubin Mehta, Amália Rodrigues,etc.,etc., and during my stay in London I also interviewed for my Film School's newspaper famous personalities, such as John Lennon, Milos Forman, and many others.
I have the ability of switching with no difficulty from one language to the other, which gives me the possibility of gathering in one bus people of different nationalities.
