Information about Valletta
Airport - Malta International Airport is located 3 miles southwest of the capital Valletta and getting there has been made simple. Airport has a good amount of facilities with which to greet the tourist on arrival.
Shopping - The main street of Valletta is Republic street, a busy pedestrian zone leading down the middle of the Peninsula from the main gate down to Republic square, this is where many of the better shops are located, although it cannot quite compete with Sliema for clothing. The best souvenirshop (the least worthless trinkets etc.) can be found at the Malta experience, but there are many other reasonable souvenir shops in Valletta. Hotels Restaurants/Cafe |
Private Guide in Valletta - Ernest Meli (Member Since 2011) Languages: English Italian & Maltese My name is Ernest Meli and I live on the charming Island of Malta, which boasts a rich history, begining with the Temple period, on to the Romans, all the way through the Knights of Malta, Napoleon, the British and finally and independent E.U. member state. I love to tell a great story, so Malta is a haven for me and my clients who want to know all about the architecture, legends, Pirates, Battles, World War 2, and the all time favorite Dark Tour. |
