Tirana walking City Tour, Starting from your hotel at 9:00.
Tirana main square will be the beginning point for our tour. A short brefing about the history of the capital will introduce us Tirana and its main buildings. The first visit will be at Ethem Bei mosque, built in 1793, one of the most beautifull mosques in Albanian. Next stop will be at the old Albanina Parlament, now days a small theatre.
We will enter inside the Albanian Bank to admire the oriental style mosaics and the unique architecture of this building. We will wonder within the building of the Minnisties Block, which are national historical monuments.
After a short break for a coffee at "Sarajet e beut" (pasha house), we will visit the National Art Galery. We will walk through the metropolitan park towards the block area, which use to be the area where the communist leadership use to live.
We will finish our tour with a cold beer at the ex-villa of the Albanian communist dictator. Join me.
